She wanted to go to Watkins Woolen Mill State Park in Lawson, Missouri and it could not have been a better backdrop for her special day. We started out with a few photos near the lake and several more along a fence line before heading back to this beautiful rustic bridge we found along the way. We dodge a few cars but ultimately was able to get some amazing images. The light was perfect and here is a sample of one of the images along with the behind the scenes setup.

It was a beautiful day so we decided to run up the street to Unity Village. I just let them do their own poses and not push them so I could capture them doing what they do best. Laugh and play.

Well this month I have decided to take a leap of faith and see where this adventure takes me. I have been fortunate enough to have my corporate work published in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, MSNBC and the Kansas City Star. Recently I fell back in love with portrait photography and that new spark is what has me excited about capturing that perfect moment in time.
